WORKING WITH PICTURE BOOKS

I like books and ...I love picture books. I have created this blog  to share ideas to improve learning through the use of good books.

A book can be used in different ways:

. We could present just the title (children are not allowed to see the book) and they will have to make up what the book is about.

. We could use a powerful image that catches the child's attention: What is going on? What happened before? How do you think this story will  end?

. We could talk about the front and back cover

. We could learn about an author or about an illustrator

. We could just enjoy reading the book; storytelling

. We could watch a video related to the book

... THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO ENJOY A GOOD BOOK!
